Konsumprodukt, a project of Spanish based Alejandro Remeseiro, brings you a wild mixture of Spanish electronic extravaganza.

"Rumbero elegante" is obviously influenced by the styles and rhythms of Alejandros home country in the first place, but he adds some wicked twists and turns that clearly show his special view on music.

Voice and noise samples, field recordings and various flavours of bleeps and beats make "Rumbero elegante" a Mediterranean treasure box.

Ctor or constructor denotes an adjustment from the previous form. Winterstrand - To Be The Odd One Out

well, it's been a bit quiet around here, but laridae is neither dead nor sleeping. there are several things in work, including:

1.) live-gigs by firnwald (28.4.07) and microtonner (27.4.07) at the netlabel nights in graz. they'll share the stage with acts like lackluster (!) and bobby baby (!).

2.) next release will be an EP by "winterstrand", but it may still take some time 'till the actual release.

3.) laridae will go physical. a limited CDr edition of my (photophob's) newest album "CIRCADIAN RHYTHMS" will be available in may. this will be a partner release by laridae and EED. but more on that later...

it has taken us longer than expected, but i think we can be satisfied with the result:

laridae proudly presents its 30th-release-compilation "wencoded", an abstract, glitchy and quite difficult pile of cooperations, remixes and solo tracks from our artists all over this planet. you`ll find several reciprocally altered and destroyed de-mixes, a remix by red.chamber, based on the digital glitch of a corruptly encoded track by photophob, as well as "normal" remixes, that just don`t sound like the original track at all. if you like the sound of digital noise, you`ll love it. if you prefer accessible headnodding electronica, you probably won`t. winter is going to get even a bit colder with wencoded.

for our 25th release, we managed to sign a very special artist on laridae. MODEX, known for two gorgeous EPs on binkcrsh, agreed to provide us "pieces for triangulation", a full length album produced back in 2004. while rob curulli, the man behind MODEX, moved away from pure electronica to form two post-rock/post-metal bands (Binding Death and Rooftop Access), "pieces for triangulation" sums up everything that his electronic alter ego stood for: melancholy synth melodies, wallowing in oceans of reverb, escorted by distorted beats and noises, constantly evolving and drifting along its way through the aether. MODEX` album sounds like the best moments of nine inch nails remixes, slowed down to the half of the original speed and played back in a gigantic abandoned spaceship hangar. we are very proud to present you this extraordinary piece of work!
